Struthers police investigating car break-ins

STRUTHERS — A Wilson Avenue resident told police Wednesday that two of his cars had been broken into while parked overnight near his house.

The resident told police about $30 in cash had been taken from a locked car in front of his house. The resident said the car's lock had been broken open and that the exterior liner had been pulled out of the window seal.

The resident also reported that around $10 in cash had been taken from a second car parked in his driveway. A police report says the suspect seems to have entered that car through an open driver's-side window.
