Pair arrested for drugs after city traffic stops
YOUNGSTOWN — Police arrested two people in separate traffic stops Wednesday on possession of heroin charges.
Kristen Raymond, 23, of Federal Street in Niles, was taken into custody at Ohio and Benita avenues for running a stop sign, reports said. Police found a bag of heroin rolled up in currency on the floor where Raymond was sitting, reports said.
About 10:25 p.m., Brian Spence, 27, of Berlin Center, was taken into custody at Overland and Falls avenues after running a stop sign. Police found a dose of heroin in the center console of the car, reports said.
Both were taken to the Mahoning County jail.
