Rescue group sets bunny open house

NORTH LIMA

F5RS, Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies, & Feathered Friends Rescue & Sanctuary, will have a bunny open house from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at 11836 South Ave., Building E in the basement. It is the old South Range school.

The operation’s store sells Scentsy products, T-shirts, jewelry, bunny treats and toys.

Visitors can learn about Bunnies in Baskets Therapy Rabbits. Volunteers are welcome. No animal surrenders are accepted.

Rising Star starts clothing ministry

YOUNGSTOWN

Rising Star Baptist Church, 2943 Wardle Ave., has started a new clothing outreach ministry. The church will be accepting gently used clothing for babies to adults from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays. The clothing will then be distributed to those in need. Monetary donations toward the ministry are also welcome.

The first distribution is from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.

Leetonia library offers crafts

Upcoming crafts at Leetonia Community Public Library, 181 Walnut St., follow.

Every Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. is “make it and take it” craft for children.

At 6 p.m. Feb. 9, make a no-sew fringe fleece scarf. Register by calling 330-427-635. There is a small cost for supplies.

Vampire Valentines for ages 15 and older will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 12. There is no registration or cost.

Crochet a slouch hat at 5 p.m. Feb. 17. Bring H or I hook and so-soft yarn. This group is open to knitters, embroiderers and quilters.

St. Mary Church will offer breakfast

St. Mary Church, 3504 state Route 46, will serve pancake, French toast, sausage and egg breakfasts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Meals are $6 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 11, and free for kids 4 and younger. For takeouts, call 330-652-8319.
