Lily pond opened for skating

Visitors to the Mill Creek MetroParks can now ice skate at the Lily Pond.

The park will host supervised ice skating at the Lily Pond beginning today from 3 to 6 p.m. Hours this weekend will be Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If conditions allow, skating will continue on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Feb. 22 during the same hours as this weekend.

Unsupervised skating is permitted during normal MetroParks hours. Benches and a fire pit will be provided.

No skate rental is available.
