Thursday: The Warren JFK graduate shot a 1-over par 72 in the first round of the Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale. Kokrak made the turn at 1-under and was at 1-under entering No. 17, but bogeyed his last two holes of the day. Kokrak is tied for 87th. Some players did not complete the first round before play was suspended because of darkness.

Today: Kokrak tees off at 9:39 a.m. on No. 10. His playing partners are Chez Reavie and Morgan Hoffmann.
