Youngstown firefighters check South Side building for smoke

YOUNGSTOWN — Multiple city fire trucks responded to an incident at a building on the city’s South Side about 10:30 a.m. today.

Fire officials say they were called out for a report of smoke in the building, which is located near the McDonald’s on Market Street.

Responders cleared the scene about 11:30 a.m. No details were immediately available about the cause of the smoke or whether anyone was inside the building at the time.
