ACS Polar Bear Plunge set for Feb. 7

LAKE MILTON

The American Cancer Society’s Polar Bear Plunge is from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Harry Meshel Picnic Area, 16801 Mahoning Ave., Lake Milton.

Individuals who raise $100 or more will receive a 2015 commemorative Polar Bear Plunge T-shirt, which will be distributed at the event during registration/check in.

People who won’t jump but want to participate by making a donation of at least $100 are eligible for the “Can’t Bear to Jump Club,” and will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Mr. Polar Bear will jump in their behalf. Donations can be made online by going to www.brrforacure.org.

To become a member of the “Very Important Polar Bear Club,” participants must donate or raise at least $1,000 per individual and turn it in online or the the ACS office, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield by today.
