THURSDAY

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $7.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up starting at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders may be picked up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will take orders for freshly made potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6 per dozen (no containers necessary).

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi on Fridays. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

SATURDAY

Braceville United Methodist Church, state Route 82, is offering a stuffed pork chop dinner. The dinner runs from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and includes mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, coleslaw, applesauce and homemade desserts. The cost is $9 for adults and $3.50 for children. North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, is serving a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. The all-you-can-eat spread includes eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes and rolls for a donation. Call 330-549-2333 for information.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Knights of Columbus 3930 is sponsoring a pancake and sausage breakfast from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parish center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown. The cost for adults is $5 and $3 for children 12 and under.

Southington American Legion Post, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, will serve an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the post home. The cost for adults is $6.50, $4 for children 4 to 12 and free for kids 3 and under.

St. Patrick Church of Youngstown will resume its monthly Sauce and Song program with a spaghetti dinner and concert. The dinner will be served in the social hall from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost for the dinners is $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. The menu includes salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Carryouts are available, and containers will be provided. The Mahoning Valley Chorale under the direction of Kris Harper will perform in concert from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.

TAKING ORDERS

Saxon Culture Group’s semiannual sausage sale will offer 3- and 5-pound packages of large links in mild, hot and Saxon-recipe garlic flavors and 5-pound packages of bulk in all flavors. The cost is $3.50 per pound. Phone orders will be taken at 330-718-0496 through March 3 or at santabill38@zoominternet.net through March 4. Orders should be picked up from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 7 at the Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown. At that time, customers are welcome to enjoy German music, beer and a sausage sandwich. The next sale will be in September.

UPCOMING

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, Poland, will have a cavatelli dinner at 3 p.m. Feb. 4. The menu includes sauce and meatballs, tossed salad, bread and butter and cookies. The dinners are takeout only. Regular portions are $9, and smaller portions with only one meatball are $5. Quarts of pasta fagioli are $6 each, and quarts of pasta sauce are $5 each. Remain in your car, and your dinner will be brought out to you.
