Improvements underway at Lake Cohasset in Mill Creek Park

YOUNGSTOWN — Mill Creek MetroParks began work on a Lake Cohasset improvement project today.

The project includes reconstruction of the shoulder on West Cohasset Drive and shoreline cleanup around parts of the lake.

The project will last about four to five weeks. West Cohasset Drive and the East Cohasset Hiking Trail will close periodically during the project.

The cleanup will include removal of woody debris and lake water levels will periodically be adjusted to assist with the project. The park system got an Ohio Environmental Protection Agency burn permit to burn debris on site.
