Gunman holds up adult video store

AUSTINTOWN

A video store was held up at gunpoint Monday.

Austintown Video, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive, was robbed by a man pointing a small handgun at an employee. Austintown authorities were called to the adult store at 1:28 p.m. Monday. There is video surveillance of the incident, a police report said. The man came out of a back room and approached the register and demanded money. It was not known how much money was taken.

Due to snow on the group, authorities observed tire tracks and footprints to and from the vehicle. The man fled the store in a blue or gray Cadillac and possibly drive onto a Interstate 80 after turning onto state Route 46.

The man also took several items from the store.
