R&J Trucking opening Moraine facility

Moraine, Ohio, Economic Development Director Michael Davis said R&J Trucking of Boardman will open a new facility and bring up to 70 new jobs to the area.

The company received an eight-year tax abatement on the construction of a $750,000 facility from the city. The company purchased 17 acres out of about 80 vacant acres on Dryden Road in Moraine. The land is former property of Delphi and has sat empty for 10 years.

"We are hoping it will spur some more future opportunities," Davis said.

The company also entered into a 15 percent tax-sharing agreement with the school district.
