R&J Trucking in Boardman builds new facility near Dayton

BOARDMAN — R&J Trucking will open a new 12,500-square-foot maintenance facility in Moraine, Ohio, by June.

The company received an eight-year tax abatement from the city of Moraine on the estimated $750,000 facility that will be built on 17 acres the company purchased.

“They have been in the market for the past year or two and they would like to create a location here,” said Michael Davis, economic development director for the city, which is located in Montgomery County near Dayton.

No one from R&J Trucking could be reached for comment today.

The trucking company’s main office is located at 8063 Southern Blvd.
