‘Wizard of Oz’ at Campbell Middle

Children’s center adds to board

YOUNGSTOWN

The Oh Wow! Children’s Center for Science & Technology has added two board members: Patrick Chovan of Omega Inc. and W. Greg Sturrus of Youngstown State University’s College of Science, Technology and Math. The center also recently recognized the efforts of two founding members, Dr. Martin Abraham and Bruce Sherman.

Chorale concert at St. Patrick’s

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning Valley Chorale, under the direction of Kris Harper, will present a concert of gospel music Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., as part of the church’s Sunday, Sauce and Song Concert Series.

The program will include Southern gospel, gospel and African-American spirituals. Soloists will include Sierra Giordana and Kiyan Taghaboni, who are both vocal music majors at the Dana School of Music, and Alexis Musgrove, a vocal music major from Westminster College.

The concert is open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken. Spaghetti dinners will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Take-outs are available.
