Masury man pleads guilty to reckless homicide charge
WARREN — Wesley A. Williams, 35, of West Columbia Street in Masury, has pleaded guilty in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to a reduced charge of reckless homicide in the Oct. 16 shooting death of his friend, Scott Williams, 22, of Sharpsville, Pa.
Williams will be sentenced after the county’s Adult Probation Department conducts a pre-sentence investigation.
Hubbard Township police charged him with murder after police found Scott Williams dead in the home of Williams’ brother, Jimmy Williams, on Thornton Road in the township.
Jimmy Willliams said the shooting occurred while Wesley Williams and Scott Williams, who are not related, were looking at a gun.
