Braceville man gets 3-year prison term for 2014 attempted burglary
WARREN — Peighton E. Bishop of Braceville, who turned 18 two months before he and two other teens attempted to commit a burglary at a Starlite Drive Northwest home that turned deadly, was sentenced to three years in prison today.
He pleaded guilty to the indictment — involuntary manslaughter, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery — before Judge Peter Kontos of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
Bishop, of state 534, was part of a Nov. 22, 2014, home invasion along with Trent Hall, 18, of Braceville Robinson Road in Braceville, and an unnamed juvenile, police said.
There was a scuffle with the 29-year-old resident of the home during the 10:30 p.m. break-in, and the resident shot and killed Hall.
