HEALTH care

Meridian Healthcare, a nonprofit organization that works with those in need in the Mahoning Valley, recently hired Scott Landy as the new development coordinator for the agency. Landy will be responsible for developing local business relationships and partnerships within the community, along with obtaining funding opportunities for Meridian. The Boardman resident has a degree in political science from Ohio State University. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the financial and sales industry and work in customer relations.

TRANSPORTATION

TranSystems, an engineering and consulting firm that provides integrated solutions for transportation infrastructure challenges, announced the promotion of James Fisher from senior associate to principal. Fisher has more than 25 years of experience in real estate, including right-of-way acquisition. Most recently, he has been focused on broadening client relationships in the Ohio and Pennsylvania areas. He has guided the firm’s real-estate practice and client management efforts in those areas, developing real-estate groups in the Cleveland, Columbus, Youngstown and western Pennsylvania offices. His knowledge extends from highway and transit related services to aviation and utilities.
