McDonald woman is United Way 2014 campaign winner

AUSTINTOWN — Michele Bieber of McDonald, a member of United Autoworkers Local 1112 at the General Motors Lordstown Complex, won $15,000, one of the incentives in the 2014 campaigns of the United Ways of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley and Trumbull County.

Bieber was among 10 finalists, five each from Trumbull and Mahoning counties, to win either a two-year lease of a 2015 Chevy Volt, a 2015 Chevy Silverado, or $15,000 in cash, all donated by Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown. The event was Wednesday. She chose the cash.

All donors of $208 or more to United Ways in both counties qualified for one chance in the drawing to win one of the cars cash. Each finalist received $50 gift certificates to a local restaurant, a $50 gift card to Greenwood Chevrolet, and a Free Paint Protection Application from the Auto Butler of Greenwood Chevrolet valued at $89.95.
