Huntingon Bank reports 4th-quarter earnings of $164M

YOUNGSTOWN — Huntington Bancshares Inc. today reported net income for the 2014 fourth quarter of $164 million,

This is a $9 million and $5 million increase from the prior and year-ago quarters, respectively.

Earnings per common share for the 2014 fourth quarter were $0.19, an increase of $0.01 from the prior and year-ago quarters.

The 2014 full-year net income was $632 million, down 1 percent from the prior year. Earnings per common share for the year were $0.72, unchanged from the prior year.
