Salem woman killed in Pa. traffic crash
MERCER, Pa.
A Salem woman was killed and a Salem man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident about 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in Wilmington Township.
A news release from Pennsylvania State Police at Mercer said a Dodge Caravan driven by 71-year-old Fred Floury of Salem was traveling south on Bethel New Wilmington Road and failed to stop at a stop sign at Pulaski Mercer Road, colliding with a pickup truck driven by 36-year-old Jodi Rimel of Dawson.
Killed was a passenger in the van, 39-year-old Mandy Digman. Neither Dingman nor Floury were wearing seat belts, the release said.
The release said Rimel also suffered serious injuries. She was wearing her seat belt, the release said.
