Police probe man's death on the West Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are investigating a death on the West Side.

Officers were called to a home in the 1700 block of Oakwood Avenue where they found an elderly male dead, a police spokesman said.

Detectives and the coroner's office were called to the home.

Should the death be ruled a homicide, it would be the first in the city in 2015.
