Canton cops seek marble-toting window breaker

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — Police here are looking for someone they say has been making mischief with a sling shot and marbles.

Police have been stopping pedestrians and vehicles in a city neighborhood where they say someone with a slingshot or similar device has been breaking windows.

Capt. Dave Davis, who heads the police department’s detective bureau, tells the Canton Repository for a story today that nearly a dozen incidents have been reported since Sunday.

The paper says police reports of criminal damaging or vandalism blame a marble.
