The monthly “Five Minutes with the Mayor” will take place today, starting at 5 p.m. in the mayor’s office on the first floor of city hall, 26 S. Phelps St. Residents are invited to visit with Mayor John A. McNally to voice any questions or concerns they may have regarding issues in the city.

Teacher job fair

The Mahoning County Educational Service Center will conduct the first Mahoning Valley Regional Council of Governments teacher job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.

Recent graduates in education, credentialed teachers and substitute-teacher candidates can meet with recruiters and district administrators to learn about teaching opportunities. The job fair will take place at the Joyce Brooks Center in the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. Attendees should enter through Door 36.
