‘Pippin’ is coming to Connor Palace

Abstract art exhibit to open
Akron
“Beauty Reigns,” an exhibition celebrating abstract art today, opens Friday at the Akron Art Museum, 1 S. High St., and runs through May 3.
The exhibition showcases the work of 13 painters working in studios across the United States.
In concert with the “Beauty Reigns” exhibition, the Akron Art Museum has scheduled a number of related programs, beginning with the free opening party Jan. 23 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Artists Paul Henry Ramirez and Susan Chrysler White will be present, and guests can enjoy cocktails and take advantage of a hands-on henna tattoo station.
