3 Youngstown flag football teams going west

YOUNGSTOWN
Three local youth flag football teams will compete in the NFL FLAG powered by USA Football National Championships in Phoenix on Monday and Jan. 27.
In the 9-10 co-ed division will be Youngstown Youth Flag Football Association’s Pittsburgh Steelers coached by Elliot Giles and Chris Enoch. Players are Beau Brungard, Aidan Enoch, Camden Forsyth, Alexis Giles, Elliott Giles Jr,, Dylan Shapiro, Bronx Teague and Bryce Teague.
In the 11-12 co-ed division will be YYFFA’s San Francisco 49ers team coached by Elliot Giles and Jason Marucci. Players are Aiden Hall, Peyton Kosteic, Santino Marucci, Trey Metzka, Trace Oliverson, Ethan Powell, Reuben Talley, Cameron Tucker and Isiah McBride.
In the 13-14 girls division will be YYFFA’s Cleveland Browns coached by Giles and James Alfano. Players are Olivia Alfano, Rebecca Catlos, Camden Hergenrother, Isabella Lamparty, Kayla Muslovski, Francesca Ricciardi and Natalie Rogers.
Eight teams will compete in each division. Teams qualified for the national championships by winning regional tournaments hosted by NFL clubs.
In 2014, a record number of 250,000 boys and girls ages 5-17 were part of NFL FLAG powered by USA Football.
