Boardman man charged with drug trafficking

A township man faces a drug trafficking charge after he admitted to selling marijuana after police searched his residence and found drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Thomas Holler Jr., 19, of Paxton Road is charged with trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fifth degree.

Township police obtained a search warrant and raided his residence Dec. 11, according to a police report. They found marijuana, $467 in cash, hash oil residue and drug paraphernalia.

At the time, Holler told police that he sold marijuana to make money because he cannot find a job, and admitted that all evidence belonged to him.

Holler was arrested on a warrant Jan. 16. He is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court here Jan. 27 for a preliminary hearing.
