$2,600 taken from Austintown business

AUSTINTOWN — Money was stolen from an area business during the holiday weekend.

Sometime between 5 p.m. Friday and 8:40 a.m. Monday, $2,600 was taken from an office of ABC Motor Credit, 4508 Mahoning Ave., according to a police report.

The cash was taken from a manager's office and a few offices were ransacked. A window was broken in the business and the alarm was not active during the weekend.
