Malone’s online degrees make list

U.S. News & World Report released its list of top online degree programs, with Malone University ranking No. 40 for best online bachelor’s degree program of the 282 colleges and universities ranked nationally.
Malone’s ranking was a seven-way tie, shared with Colorado State University, Concordia University — St. Paul, Eastern Kentucky University, Florida Institute of Technology, University of Maine — Augusta, and the University of Nebraska — Lincoln.
Other Ohio universities making the list include The Ohio State University (No. 8), Franklin University (No. 72), University of Toledo (No. 142), Cleveland State University (No. 153), Tiffin University (No. 153) and University of Cincinnati (No. 180); as well as Bowling Green State University, College of Mount St. Joseph, Ohio University, Union Institute and University and the University of Findlay (ranking not published).
Malone University’s online bachelor of arts degree in business accounting, organizational, project, marketing, health services or environmental management is designed for nontraditional students with a minimum of five years of work experience who have some post-high-school education. The degree may be completed in 15 months. Since its inception in 1984, more than 3,400 adult students have completed their degrees; the program boasts an impressive retention and graduation rate.
