Mark Hughes scored 11 of his team high 21 points in the fourth quarter for the Irish (11-2). Mark Mokros had 22 points for the Crusaders (7-2).

Cardinal Mooney 78, Euclid 65

YOUNGSTOWN

Andrew Armstrong scored 24 points, grabbed 20 rebounds and recorded four assists in Cardinal Mooney’s win over Euclid. Antonio Bruno added 19 for the Cardinals (7-3). Devin West led Euclid (1-10) with 20 points.

Mathews 58, Hubbard 49

VIENNA

Clay O’Dell scored 17 points and Tom Sharp added 11 for the Mustangs (7-3). Tyler Hodge had 14 points for the Eagles.

Southington 49, Newton Falls 47

SOUTHINGTON

Tommy Hall scored 13 points and Eric Wilson added 12 in Southington’s win over Newton Falls. The Wildcats outscored the Tigers (7-5) 17-7 in the fourth quarter. Jaden Walton had 11 for Newton Falls.

McDonald 75, Western Reserve 51

BERLIN CENTER

Brad Woodley ignited the Blue Devils’ attack with 23 points. Also scoring in double figures were Anthony Pugh with 20 and Jake Reckard with 18. McDonald outscored Western Reserve 28-4 in the third quarter to pull away. For Western Reserve, Lance DeZee scored 16 points including four 3-pointers. Nolan Snyder netted 11 points.

GIRLS

Austintown Fitch 81, Cardinal Mooney 75

AUSTINTOWN

Four players scored in double figures for Austintown Fitch in six-point win over Cardinal Mooney. Allexis Mukaabya led the Falcons with 21, while Alysoun Mukaabya added 19 points. Jaclyn Yankle led all scorers with 36 points and added 10 rebounds for the Cardinals (5-9).

Canfield 65, Warren Harding 41

CANFIELD

Erin Risner led the Cardinals with 18 points. Also scoring in double figures were Rachel Tinkey with 15 and Alexandra Stanic 11. For the Raiders, Chelsea DiApolo led with nine points.

Girard 45, Jefferson 36

JEFFERSON

Dakota Naples scored 17 points and Makayla Trebella added 11 for the Indians (12-2). Emily Smock scored 19 points for the Falcons.

Lakeview 76, Liberty 31

CORTLAND

Lakeview held Liberty to nine first-half points in a run-away victory for the Bulldogs. Five players scored in double figures for Lakeview (12-2, 6-0), led by Camie Becker’s 17 points. Marcy Dykes had 10 for the Leopards.

Newton Falls 57, Poland 35

POLAND

Isabell Kline and Gabby Kline each had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead Newton Falls, while Kayla Barreca had 10 points, five rebounds and three steals. Kaylin Donnadio had nine points for the Bulldogs.

Struthers 60, Campbell 20

STRUTHERS

Preshus Brown scored a game-high 23 points in Struthers’ big win over Campbell. Caitlin Kane added 18 points for the Wildcats (6-6, 4-2).

Hubbard 52, Champion 42

HUBBARD

Emily Manion had 19 points to lead Hubbard past Champion. Logan Nitsche added 10 for the Eagles. Molly Williams had 12 points for the Golden Flashes.

Brookfield 49, Edgewood 40

ASHTABULA

McKenzie Drapola scored 12 points and Michaela Gauding added 10 for the Warriors (11-2). Haley Holden had 11 points to lead Edgewood.

West Branch 60, Louisville 36

BELOIT

Melinda Trimmer scored 19 points and had seven assists and Kaylee Manning added 11 for the Warriors (13-1, 8-0 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). Sarah Lairson scored 12 points to lead the Leopards (7-7, 5-3).
