Courtney Walter of Dublin, Ohio, and Matthew Shilling of Columbus exchanged vows Aug. 16 at St. Brendan the Navigator Church. The Rev. Bob Penhallurick officiated for the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

After a reception at Heritage Golf Club, the couple went on a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They reside in Dublin.

She is the daughter of Bob and Marie Walter of Westerville, Ohio, and he is the son of Don and Amy Shilling of Boardman.

The bride is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in human and consumer sciences. She is employed as an administrative sales assistant at Hilton Columbus Downtown.

The groom is a graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering. He is employed as an Ohio data analyst in the Leadership Development Program at Chase Bank Columbus.

The bride, wearing a traditional strapless gown, was attended by Kelly Hoover-McKinney. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Strojin; Kristy Farren, sister of the bride; Wendy Walter, sister-in-law of the bride; Noelle Pollino, cousin of the bride; and Jordan Cripe.

Attendants wore navy blue dresses.

The junior bridesmaids were Brooke Farren and Ashlyn Walter, nieces of the bride.

Serving as best man for his brother was David Shilling. Groomsmen were Jason Shilling, brother of the groom; Robert Walter, brother of the bride; Doug Farren, brother-in-law of the bride; Andrew Lonsberry; and Andrew Gort.

Brady Farren and Bobby Walter Jr., nephews of the bride, served as ring bearers.
