Stambaugh Pillars plan annual meeting

Stambaugh Pillars will have their annual meeting at noon Feb. 2 at Stambaugh Auditorium in the Anne Kilcawley Christman Memorial Hall.

A light lunch will be provided, and a cash bar will be available.

Pianist Paul Rossi will entertain. All members of the Pillars are invited.

Mardi Gras Mixer scheduled by church

YOUNGSTOWN

Holy Apostles Parish invites parish families and friends to a Mardi Gras Mixer from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Aut Mori Grotto Hall, 543 N. Belle Vista Ave.

Tickets bought in advance cost $7, and children 5 and under get in free. Tickets at the door will cost $9.

They will be available at Sts. Peter & Paul Croatian Church, 483 Covington St., and St. Stephen of Hungary Church, 868 Wilson Ave., before and after Masses on Jan. 17 and 18, 24 and 25 and Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.

Ticket prices include sloppy joes, hot dogs, chips, a veggie tray salad, soft drinks and water. Take your own bottle. A disc jockey will provide music from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be raffles every half-hour beginning at 6:30. A 50-50 drawing will take place at 8:45.

Patrons are asked to donate a dozen homemade cookies for the cookie table.

Wear a mask and beads for the Mardi Gras festivities.
