Report: Eric Wolford to become 49ers' OL coach

FootballScoop.com is reporting former Youngstown State football Eric Wolford will be the San Francisco 49ers' offensive line coach.

Wolford, fired by YSU on Nov. 24, was hired to coach the offensive line at Oklahoma State on Jan. 8, but the website reports that the 49ers — now coached by Jim Tomsula — are set to the Brookfield native and Ursuline High graduate.

Wolford was an offensive lineman in high school and in college at Kansas State. He has coached the offensive line at several stops in his career, including Ilinois and South Carolina.

Tomsula was introduced this week as the 49ers' replacement for Jim Harbaugh, who is now the coach at Michigan.
