A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Jan. 4

Drug abuse: A 17-year-old male from Hilton Head, S.C., was charged with drug abuse and drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 7

Warrant: Jennifer DiGiantonio, 28, of Overbrook Drive, Canfield was arrested on two felony counts of forgery, two felony counts of receiving stolen property and one felony count of theft.

Drug paraphernalia: A 17-year-old male from Columbiana was charged with drug paraphernalia.

AUSTINTOWN

Jan. 5

Theft: A .38-caliber handgun was taken from a vehicle at a home in the 600 block of Oberlin Place.

Theft: Unauthorized charges were made to a cellphone account at a home in the 4000 block of Nottingham Avenue.

Recovered property: A Cub Cadet snowblower was recovered in the 1000 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Fraud: A victim gave personal information and credit-card access in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Drug offense: Robert Moore, 19, of Norquest Boulevard was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Lost or stolen property: A wallet and contents were lost or stolen at Taco Bell, 4523 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: Christopher Check, 26, of Westgate Boulevard was arrested on charges of domestic violence and menacing. He is accused of threatening to kill everyone at his residence.

Jan. 6

Drug offense: Christopher Monroe, 29, of Hall Street, Warren, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Warrant: James Young, 20, of Mahoning Ave. was arrested on a warrant for theft of $101.99 in merchandise at Tractor Supply, 6225 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Copper wire was taken at Fisher Bord, 3650 Connecticut Ave.

Drug offense: Eric Stanley, 33, of Silica Road, North Jackson, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a drug charge.

Identity theft: A false IRS statement was filed at a home in the 2000 block of Redgate Lane.

Disturbance: Occupants of two apartments were involved in a disturbance in the 20 block of Wickliffe Circle.

Theft: An unknown male stole four cellphones in December at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Copper was taken at a home in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Warrant: Shayla Gause, 37, of New Road was arrested on a warrant for assault.

Warrant: Lorayne Sangregorio, 53, of Woodhurst Boulevard was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 8

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Kirwan Drive.

Jan. 9

Burglary: A television and DVD player were taken from a home in the 20 block of North Wickliffe Circle.

Fraud: An unauthorized endorsement was made to a paycheck at an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Theft: $50 was taken by a caregiver at a home in the 3000 block of White Beech Lane.

Theft: Deborah Demetruk, 41, of Tibbets-Wick Road, Girard, and John Demetruk, 59, same address, were arrested on theft charges. They are accused of shoplifting $288.68 in merchandise at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Six roof-top air-conditioning units had copper pipes and parts cut out at Bamboo Gardens, 5468 Mahoning Ave.

Jan. 10

Theft: Beer, a check and eye-care products were stolen from an auto at Bob and Chuck Eddy’s, 4850 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Bruce Thomas, 47, of 10th Street, Struthers, was arrested on a warrant for theft by deception.

Theft: $975.59 in unauthorized charges were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Moorefield Road.

Theft: A debit card was stolen, and $69.21 in unauthorized charges were made to it at GetGo, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

Jan. 11

Counterfeit currency: Four counterfeit $100 bills were passed at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Disturbance: Two males were fighting on Interstate Boulevard.

Theft: $150 was stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Attempted theft: A male suspect attempted theft at Kmart, and fled in a red Dodge Ram.

Burglary: Copper pipe was stolen at a home in the 100 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Drug offense: Robert Petrovich, 42, of 1711 Lealand Ave., Poland, was charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
