Lucky guy: Ohio man wins $2M with instant scratch-off ticket

CLEVELAND (AP) — A northeast Ohio man has scratched his way to retirement.

The Ohio Lottery said today Eric Baucan of the Cleveland suburb of Garfield Heights won $2 million from the scratch-off instant lottery game Super Million Spectacular.

Baucan opted for an annual payment for 20 years, and will receive about $71,000 annually after federal and state taxes. He is planning for retirement and says he plans to set up college funds for his niece and nephew.

He purchased the instant scratch-off ticket from a Sunoco gas station in Garfield Heights.
