community meals | The details

Free community meals are offered as a project of churches in Springfield Township Council of Churches. The meals are provided from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, January through November, at participating churches, which strive to offer companionship, fellowship and physical and spiritual nutrition.

Calvin’s Friendly Table: Petersburg Presbyterian Church, 13996 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, Petersburg, sponsors a free monthly meal this Tuesday (Jan. 20), always the third Tuesday of the month.

Luther’s Table: Zion Lutheran Church, 10857 Main St., New Middletown, offers a meal the fourth Tuesday; the next is Jan. 27.

In the rotation: Trinity United Methodist Church, 2427 Columbiana Road, New Springfield, sponsors a meal the first Tuesday of the month.

St. Paul’s Table of Plenty: St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, hosts a meal the second Tuesday of the month.
