Cardale Jones returning to Ohio State

Cardale Jones is staying at Ohio State.

The sophomore quarterback announced on Thursday afternoon that he will return to school after leading the Buckeyes to the national championship game.

"It was very simple for me," he said in a televised news conference on ESPN. "The NFL after three games is really out of the question.

"Of course I want to play in the NFL, but the time has to be right."
