Burning car found on Truesdale Avenue

A car was found on fire in the back of a vacant 321 S. Truesdale Ave. home on the East Side about 2:35 a.m. Wednesday.

Reports said the blaze from the car spread to the wall of an enclosed back porch at the home. Firefighters searched and found no one inside the home, reports said.

Reports said the car’s vehicle identification number was destroyed by the fire, so they could not tell who the owner was. Damage is listed at $5,000. There were no injuries.
