Boardman cops probe theft of two guns
BOARDMAN
Township police are investigating a case of theft in which two guns reportedly were stolen from a township residence.
A 26-year-old male who lives on Sciota Avenue reported to police Monday that a handgun and a shotgun were missing from his residence.
The victim told police that both guns were hidden under his bed before they went missing. Nothing else was missing from the residence and police did not find any signs of forced entry into the residence.
Police will use the serial numbers of the guns to attempt to locate them, according to a police report.
The total value of the guns is estimated at more than $800, the victim reported to police.
