Authorities probe fatal accident

YOUNGSTOWN

A fatal accident occurred on Jacobs Road near McKelvey Lake after 2 p.m. Monday, according to Vindicator broadcast partner, 21 WFMJ-TV. Youngstown police and the Mahoning County coroner are investigating the accident that left one person dead. Authorities said two elderly people were involved, but their names have not been released. Police said it also is unclear if the death occurred as a result of the crash or a medical condition.
