Rescue Mission seeks coats, hats, scarves and gloves

YOUNGSTOWN

The Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley is asking the community for donations of gently worn winter coats, scarves, hats and gloves to pass along to those in need in our community. All sizes are needed for men, women and children.

The donated coats will be given away at Spanish Evangelical Church, 369 Keystone Ave., from 10 a.m. to noon or until the coats run on Jan. 21. For information about the coat distribution, call 330-744-5486.

Winter apparel donations may be dropped off at the Rescue Mission warehouse, 2246 Glenwood Ave., between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays, and the resident building, 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., any time.

Groups or businesses that wish to participate can request collection barrels by calling the number above.
