Princess Dance scheduled at park
BOARDMAN
Boardman Park is planning its 12th Annual Father-Daughter Princess Dance at the Lariccia Family Community Center for fathers or father figures who have daughters ages 5 to 12.
The semiformal dance will take place four nights, from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 12, 13 14 and from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 15 and will include dinner, dancing and a professional photo for a keepsake.
Tickets will go on sale beginning Monday at the park office, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and online at www.Boardmanpark.com. They must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.
The prices are $40 per couple for Boardman residents, $50 per couple for nonresidents and $15 for each additional child.

Library plans tea and dessert event
SALEM
Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host an afternoon tea at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 13 in the library’s Quaker Room.
Finger foods, desserts and tea will be served. The speaker will be Kim Kenney, curator at the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum in Canton. She will present “Sweet Stuff: The Story of Chocolate.”
The program is free and open to the public. Registration online at www.salem.lib.oh.us is required, and seating is limited.

Art show and sale scheduled at YWCA
YOUNGSTOWN
YWCA, 25 W. Rayen Ave., will have an art sale March 14 and 15. The sale is open to all artists, men and women.
All art must be priced $100 or lower. A 20 percent commission will be retained on all work sold.
The cost is $10 per table. The deadline to register is March 9.
