Power outage affects hundreds in North Liima
NORTH LIMA
Hundreds of FirstEnergy customers in the North Lima area are without power after a power line fell across state Route 7 near the Ohio Turnpike.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol Hiram post helped with the response when the line fell earlier today. A representative said traffic was not affected on the turnpike. OSHP also will help with traffic control while the line is being repaired.
Between 100 and 500 FirstEnergy customers in the area are without power, according to FirstEnergy’s website. The repair is expected to be complete by 5 p.m.
