Blue Man Group returns to the Mahoning Valley this week for shows Tuesday and Wednesday evening at Packard Music Hall in Warren (ticketmaster.com). Here are some facts about the offbeat theatrical musical act.

v The beginning: Formed in New York in 1987 by Chris Wink, Matt Goldman and Phil Stanton.

v Today: At least a half-dozen Blue Man Group productions are performing in the United States and abroad.

v Debut album: The group released its first audio recording, titled “Audio,” in 1999.

v Singers: Its next album, 2003’s “The Complex,” featured a variety of guest singers.

v At sea: In 2009, Blue Man Group began performing at sea aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines ships.

“Eye Candy” (10 p.m., MTV): “Eye Candy” is an alluring new thriller that delves into the dark side of technology. It focuses on a computer expert (Victoria Justice) who begrudgingly gets into online dating and suspects that one of her suitors might be a deadly cyber stalker.

“Castle” (10 p.m., ABC): “Castle” returns with a fresh episode that has Richard (Nathan Fillion) taking an online course to become a private investigator. It leads to a competition with Beckett (Stana Katic) to see who can solve a case faster.
