Afterward participants will stop at O’Charleys for lunch. The Market Place is on South Avenue in Boardman. There will be car-pooling. Sign up by Monday. Monday through Friday: Coffee bar 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.; adult basketball and cornhole 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Wii gaming system, air hockey and table tennis also are available. Niles Senior Center, 14 E. State St., is offering a new chair yoga class. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. The cost is $1 per class. It is offered every Wednesday at 10 a.m. A free Lunch and Learn program will be offered at noon Jan. 27. The speaker will be Beth Massaro from Gateway Health on “Getting The Care You Need.” She will talk about when one should go to the doctor or the emergency room and how to use an urgent care clinic. To register, call the center at 330-544-3676 or stop in. Also, the center will offer, every Friday, AARP free tax aide assistance. The free tax aide program will begin at the center Feb. 6 and continue through April 10. Tax returns can be filed at the center by certified AARP tax aide preparers by appointment only. Appointments are being taken now and can be made from 9 a.m. to 2:30 each Friday. There will be five tax preparers on hand. Call the center at 330-544-3676 to make an appointment.
