SENIOR CITIZENS

Croatian Pensioners will meet at noon Thursday at the Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Birthdays and anniversaries will be honored, and cards and bingo will follow the meeting. New members are welcome.

Happy Wanderers will meet Friday at the Corner House Christian Church. Social hour begins at 11 a.m. and music will be provided by The Coxsons, David, Delbert and Jerry. Attendees should take a sack lunch. Those whose names begin with A through O are asked to take snacks. Greeters are Ilene Hudavoni and Lois Singer, and two others are needed. J.C. Penney Retirees will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman. All retirees are welcome to attend.

Liberty 55 Plus Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church, Cardinal Drive, Liberty. Kay Herberger will preside. Members should take a brown bag lunch. Cards will be played and January birthdays will be acknowledged.

Local 2243 USWA Copperweld Steel Co. Retirees, S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10, will have their monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at Windsor House Champion Estates, off of Champion Street East, Champion. The guest speaker will be Dan Wasko Jr., public relations officer. Refreshments will be served.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors will meet Wednesday after the noon Mass. John Mascardine will preside, and reports will be given by Beverly Pondillo and Ann Leone. Lunch will be served, and birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. There will be a 50-50 drawing, and cards and bingo will be played. Guests are welcome.
