March for Life bus trip planned for Jan. 22

NEW CASTLE, PA.

The New Castle chapter of People Concerned for the Unborn Child is organizing a bus trip to the 42nd annual “March for Life” in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 22.

Anti-abortion organizers throughout the country will “March for Life” to Capitol Hill to speak with U.S. senators and congressmen.

The U.S. Supreme Court, in a 7-2 decision Jan. 22, 1973, deemed abortion a fundamental right under the U.S. Constitution.

The group has room for 56 passengers for the march. The group will depart at 4:45 a.m. from the parking lot of St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1111 S. Cascade St., and will leave Washington at 5 p.m.

A dinner is planned for 6 to 7 p.m. at a Frederick, Md., Cracker Barrel Restaurant, north of Washington. The group plans to arrive back at the St. Joseph’s parking lot between midnight and 1 a.m. Jan. 23.
