Kevin Pangos scored 17 points, Przemek Karnowski added 16 and Gonzaga beat San Francisco for its eighth straight victory. Kyle Wiltjer had 15 points for the Bulldogs (15-1, 4-0 West Coast), whose only loss was at No. 7 Arizona. Kruize Pinkins scored 20 for San Francisco (7-10, 1-4), which has dropped four straight. Devin Watson added 11 points. Gonzaga, which made 12 3-pointers, shot 52 percent from the floor and won the rebound battle 39-26.
No. 25 Old Dominion 72, Marshall 51
HUNTINGTON, W.VA.
Jonathan Arledge scored 13 points to lead Old Dominion to a win over Marshall in the Monarchs’ debut as a ranked team. Old Dominion (13-1, 2-0 Conference USA) won its 10th straight game to continue its best start since moving to Division I in the 1976-77 season. Trey Freeman and Jordan Baker added 11 points apiece for the Monarchs. Austin Loop scored 15 points and Jay Johnson and Ryan Taylor had 13 apiece for Marshall (4-11, 0-2).

Michigan State 75, Iowa 61
IOWA CITY, IOWA
Travis Trice scored 25 points and hit seven 3-pointers and Michigan State rallied to pound Iowa, its ninth straight win over the Hawkeyes. Branden Dawson had 14 points and 15 rebounds for the Spartans (11-5, 2-1 Big Ten), who came back from an 11-point halftime deficit to post one of their biggest wins of the season. Michigan State opened the second half on a 25-9 run and never looked back. The Trice-led Spartans were 8 of 9 from 3-point range in the final 20 minutes. Gabe Olaseni tied a career high with 18 points for the Hawkeyes (11-5, 2-1).
Nebraska 65, Rutgers 49
LINCOLN, NEB.
Terran Petteway scored 20 points and Shavon Shields added 11, and Nebraska pulled away from Rutgers in the second half. The Huskers (9-6, 1-2) are off to their best start in Big Ten play in their four years in the conference. Their previous starts were 0-4, 0-5 and 0-4. Rutgers (9-6, 1-2) shot 34.7 percent and turned the ball over 19 times in its first-ever Big Ten road game.

Cleveland State 65, Oakland 61
CLEVELAND
Andre Yates scored all 14 of his points in the second half and Cleveland State held off Oakland. Yates picked up two quick fouls and played only about 4 minutes in the first half, but Cleveland State (9-8, 3-0 Horizon League) opened up a 19-2 lead as Oakland started the game shooting 1-of-10 from the field
