Library schedules children’s events

Salem Public Library has scheduled the following events:
Stuffed Animal Sleepover, Jan. 23 and 24. Kids ages 12 and under can drop off their stuffed animal in the Children’s Department of the library, 821 E. State St., by 4 p.m. on Jan. 23.
Animals will participate in library activities such as storytime, computers and games, and their owners can follow what they are up to on Facebook that evening. The next morning at 10 a.m, owners will return to the library to pick up their stuffed animals. There will be a craft, stories, and an awards ceremony for participants.
A light breakfast will be served to stuffed animal owners. Registration is required beginning Jan. 16 for this free program. To sign up visit the website www.salem.lib.oh.us, call the library at 330-332-0042, option 4 or stop by the Children’s Department .
Harry Potter Book Night, 6 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Children’s Department. All Harry Potter fans are welcome at this family-friendly event.
