Fifth Harmony brings tour to Stambaugh Auditorium

Fifth Harmony, an all- female pop R&B group, will come to Stambaugh Auditorium on March 18.
Also featured will be Jacob Whitesides, Jasmine V and Mahogany Lox. Tickets go on sale Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. at stambaughauditorium.com, the box office and by phone at 330-2598-0555. MTV is a presenting sponsor for the tour.
Voted “Artist to Watch” at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, Fifth Harmony’s debut studio album, “Reflection,” is set for release Feb. 3. The album already has yielded two hits: “Bo$$” and “Sledgehammer.”
Fifth Harmony performed on “Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution” on New Year’s Eve. In the fall, the act was part of the Neon Lights Tour with Demi Lovato.
Fifth Harmony was formed during the second season of Fox’s TV show “X Factor.” After the five members (Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui) were not chosen as individual performers, they were put together as a group by Simon Cowell, and placed third in the competition in December 2012.
Jacob Whitesides is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter from Knoxville, Tenn. His first original single, “You’re Perfect,” hit iTunes on Aug. 5 and has sold more than 25,000 copies.
Jasmine V is a singer whose first single, “That’s Me Right There,” featured Kendrick Lamar. She is also an actress with guest-starring roles on “That’s so Raven,” “My Wife and Kids” and “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody.”
Mahogany Lox is a singer, dancer, actor, model and DJ. Her brother is Sky Blu of pop duo LMFAO.
