Austintown Middle School to host robotic tournament

Austintown Middle School will host 15 teams from around Ohio Saturday in the second annual FIRST LEGO League District Tournament.

Winning teams from this event will advance to the state tournament. Saturday’s event is free and open to the public starting at noon with robot matches starting at 1 p.m. FIRST LEGO League is a robotics program for 9 to 14 year olds, which is designed to get children excited about science and technology and teach them employment and life skills.
