Area Agency on Aging can't receive incoming calls
NILES — Because a telephone line is temporarily down, the Area Agency on Aging 11 Inc. is unable to receive incoming calls from the Ohio’s Medicaid waiver members receiving home health assistance.
As a temporary fix, the agency is re-routing incoming calls to an on-call cellphone number. Any MyCare Ohio CareSource member who needs to get in touch with a care manager or has an issue with immediate services should call 330-770-7286. Calls to the agency cannot be answered or have voice mail messages connect, said Lisa Solley, chief of community relations, wellness and training.
If a member is experiencing an emergency, they should call 911, Solley said. She said AT&T has dispatched a worker to repair the phone line.
